- • Gesher HaKeshet prices include VAT. External-provider services are priced and paid directly through that provider.
- • Payment for the veterinary visit is made on the day by card, Bit or PayBox, against an invoice.
- • Cancellation or rescheduling is free up to 24 hours before the visit.

Phone and WhatsApp are answered Sunday–Thursday, 09:00–18:00. Visits are scheduled as needed, including beyond those hours. Weekend and holiday visits carry an additional fee confirmed in advance.

I studied and qualified as a veterinarian in Germany and am licensed to practise in Israel. I continue to undertake professional education in Israel and internationally.
My work has included community and larger veterinary clinics, emergency centres, SPCA Israel in Tel Aviv and SOS Pets. As co-founder and former chief veterinarian of Teddy Vets, I helped shape its clinical approach and mentored many veterinarians.
I created Gesher HaKeshet because a final goodbye can be quieter and more personal: at home, without a waiting room and without watching the clock. Care and difficult end-of-life conversations are available in Hebrew, English, French and German.
Frequently asked questions
Will my pet feel pain?
The aim is to minimise pain and distress. Deep anaesthesia with full loss of consciousness precedes euthanasia. The route to anaesthesia is adapted to the patient’s medical situation.
What might I see or hear during and after the goodbye?
During sedation and after death, the eyes may remain open. There may be a deep breath or sigh, a brief tremor or muscle movement, and release of urine or stool. These can be physical responses or reflexes. The veterinarian assesses every response and treats it when needed. I will explain what may happen beforehand.
How long does the visit take?
As long as needed. There is time for questions and goodbye, and the visit is not run to a fixed duration.
Can a highly aggressive dog be helped at home?
Yes, in suitable cases. A carefully planned home pathway can avoid stressful travel and unfamiliar clinic surroundings. It includes an individual safety assessment, advance oral medication planning and a longer visit, with an approximate ₪900 surcharge. Read the full details
Can children or other pets be present?
Sometimes, depending on the child, the other animal, the patient and safety. There is no single correct choice, and we can plan what fits your family before the visit.
What happens afterwards?
If you wish, I can explain the practical decisions and connect you with a trusted external provider. The provider confirms availability, logistics, terms, price and payment directly with you. Gesher HaKeshet does not transport or store remains.
Do you provide emergency care?
No. The service is by advance appointment. Acute distress requires an emergency veterinary clinic.
