Choose the place
Pick the sofa, bed, garden or quiet corner where your companion feels safest. No special equipment is needed. I bring everything required.
Children and other animals
Use simple, truthful language with children and let them choose how to participate. Some families allow other pets to see or smell their companion afterwards. It is optional, and we can discuss it beforehand.
During the visit
The family has as much time as it needs. I explain each step and begin only when you are ready. Deep anaesthesia with full loss of consciousness always precedes the euthanasia medication; the route to anaesthesia is adapted to the patient.
Afterwards
You can take the time you need. If requested, I can make a warm introduction to a trusted external provider, who coordinates the logistics and payment directly with you.
